Familie Adler in Oberr\u00fcti pflanzte im Herbst 2022 auf ihren Weidefl\u00e4chen mehrere Nutzhecken von insgesamt einem Kilometer L\u00e4nge. Schon bald liefern die Geh\u00f6lze Futter f\u00fcr die Mutterk\u00fche und Frischzweigh\u00e4cksel als Einstreu. Den Freiland Poulet sollen die Str\u00e4ucher dereinst Deckung bieten. Pirmin Adler erkl\u00e4rt sein Projekt im Kurzinterview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wie passen Nutzhecken zu eurem Betrieb?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pirmin Adler: Wir betreiben Kreislaufwirtschaft und wollen m\u00f6glichst autark sein. Dies funktioniert am besten mit Diversit\u00e4t . Agroforst bringt Leben auf unsere Weiden und unterst\u00fctzt die nat\u00fcrlichen Kreisl\u00e4ufe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wozu sind die Hecken gut?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An den Futterhecken nimmt die Mutterkuhherde das Futter direkt auf. Einen Teil konservieren wir, sodass die Tiere auch im Winter vom Futterwert der Geh\u00f6lze profitieren k\u00f6nnen. Von den Stockhecken gewinnen wir Frischzweigh\u00e4cksel als Einstreu und Substrat zur Bodenbelebung. Im Sommer verdunsten die Geh\u00f6lze Wasser und sorgen so f\u00fcr K\u00fchlung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
