Ein Besuch auf dem Birkenhof im Kanton Thurgau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Draussen ist ein heisser Junitag, doch es regnet in Str\u00f6men. Auf dem Birkenhof in Diessenhofen im Westen des Kantons Thurgau geht Markus Weber den Herausforderungen der Regenerativen Landwirtschaft nach. Der Landwirt mittleren Alters sitzt am Esszimmertisch in seinem kleinen roten Wohnhaus auf dem Hof und erz\u00e4hlt von seiner Arbeit. Vor zehn Jahren h\u00f6rte er zum ersten Mal von der Regenerativen Landwirtschaft. Diese ist um Biodiversit\u00e4t und ein aktives Bodenleben bem\u00fcht, also um viele Mikroorganismen wie Bakterien, Pilze oder W\u00fcrmer und Spinnen im Boden. Weber bemerkte, wie die B\u00f6den immer mehr Behandlung brauchten f\u00fcr denselben Ertrag. Keineswegs sei dabei die Regenerative Landwirtschaft eine Garantie f\u00fcr Fruchtbarkeit, ganz im Gegenteil. Er hatte auch schon Erfahrung mit Minderertr\u00e4gen. Genau deshalb sei der Austausch \u00fcber Methoden mit anderen Bauern aus der Umgebung wichtig.
