Agroforst liegt im Trend. Der Sinn dahinter ist, landwirtschaftlichen Boden doppelt zu nutzen: Oben wachsen B\u00e4ume, unten Getreide oder Gras. Der Fonds Landschaft Schweiz stellte ein Vorzeigeprojekt dieser Art in Wallenbuch vor und hofft auf mehr davon.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auf rund drei Hektaren Landwirtschaftsland im Gurmelser Ortsteil Wallenbuch wachsen \u00fcber 100 junge Hochstammb\u00e4ume, knapp 150 Spindelb\u00e4umchen und \u00fcber 100 Beerenstauden heran \u2013 in Reih und Glied angeordnet. Die Streifen dazwischen sollen k\u00fcnftig in unterschiedlichen Fruchtfolgen als Weideland, als Ackerfl\u00e4che oder als Gem\u00fcsebeete dienen; so der Plan des Generationenbetriebs von Ren\u00e9 und Valentin Birbaum. F\u00fcr den Fonds Landschaft Schweiz (FLS) ist es ein Vorzeigeprojekt: Am Montag fand auf dem Hof eine Medienkonferenz vom FLS f\u00fcr die Lancierung des Projekts \u00abFLS-Fokus Agroforst\u00bb statt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
