Da die gemischte Feldnutzung Vorteile verspricht, will die Bundesregierung die Aufforstung auf dem Acker k\u00fcnftig gezielt f\u00f6rdern.<\/p>\n<p>Nicht alles war fr\u00fcher besser, doch eines auf jeden Fall, sagt Edzo Veldkamp von der Universit\u00e4t G\u00f6ttingen. Denn Agroforstsysteme waren bis vor einigen Jahrzehnten in Deutschland noch weit verbreitet, Streuobstwiesen zum Beispiel oder Wallhecken, sogenannte Knicks.<br \/>\n\u201eDie Systeme haben sehr gut funktioniert, sind aber mit der Intensivierung der Landwirtschaft langsam verdr\u00e4ngt worden, weil man auf andere Konzepte gesetzt hat, also auf Produktionsmaximierung, und dann stehen B\u00e4ume meist im Weg.
